Our Woodcarvers Guild, artists, guilders, joiners are considered to be some of the worlds finest master craftsmen and for for many years have supplied furniture for film makers all over the world. One of our commissions for the World Film Companys was to carve and make an exact replica of the 12th Century carved Coronation Throne that is preserved in Westminster Abbey, London England. Our Crown Guild craftsmen like their forefathers who formed the 1st Guild in London 800 years ago are dedicated to the Art of Woodcarving to produce the very finest Period Design Furniture.
We make the worlds finest carved period oak furniture, early Period Oak Furniture, Tudor and Elizabethan Period Oak Furniture.
In 2006 and 2007, amongst several Television and Film Company commissions received by the Crown Guild was from the Film Makers of the award winning Blockbuster Hollywood Financed Television Series “The Tudors” Four poster beds and period furniture was commissioned for the $20 million drama series and was filmed in the Irish Republic and seen on British television in October 2007.
